Weekly fund flows highlights – 6 February 2023

This week, Steve Muzzlewhite touches base on market movements, as it has been a hectic week on the economic data front:

  • US Unemployment at 3.4% vs consensus 3.6% and is the lowest since 1969
  • Non-Farm Payrolls, 517K new jobs

We also reflect on how investors reacted through EPFR-tracked Fund Flows data:

  • Equity Funds in the week ending Feb 1, 2023 saw inflows of $6.7bn
  • US Commodity and US Financials Sector Funds added $1bn each in January
  • US Technology Sector Funds redeemed $2.4bn
