Winston Chua joined EPFR in 2017 as a financial writer and data analyst. He covers fund flows and corporate actions (share buybacks, cash takeovers, and new offerings), and his insights provide a unique perspective on the stock market from a liquidity perspective which he shares in the Overnight Liquidity Update, Weekly Flow Report and Weekly Liquidity Review. In addition, he provides analysis of EPFR data and handles social media content.

Prior to EPFR, Winston worked at TrimTabs Investment Research, an independent institutional research firm focused on equity market liquidity which looked at the stock market from a supply and demand perspective. There, he also expanded his knowledge of fund flows as well as tracked share buybacks. In his previous career, he served as a long-time newspaper editor for the San Marino Tribune, where he was a writer, producer, editor, reporter, and photographer.

Winston holds a MA in online journalism from the University of Southern California, and a BA in American Literature and Premedical Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
